Nvidia Drivers, microsoft update errors
If I use Microsoft Update drivers for my Geforce 7600GS, my desktop is gone when I boot back up. Just a plain yellow screen. It's pretty bad when Microsofts own drivers won't work! It's no wonder so many people are haveing problems. I have found only 2 that will install (yes-a number of official Nvidia Vista drivers won't install.)AND give me video out. One is a tweeked driver, 165.25_omega_beta.exe. The oficial driver won't work. The one I use is the 100.65.winvista_32bit_international.exe.
I hope this helps someone......or at least a small grin. Don't we just love our Microsoft.
