Autodesk launches "Autodesk Assistance" in order to support designers and engineers who remained unemployed after the economic problems, in order to enable them to develop and increase their competitiveness.
The program provides software tools, trainings and resources to help redundant professionals progress in the use of 3D design technology. Thus, they can use for free (on the terms and conditions of the end user license agreement) the latest versions of Autodesk products, have access to online trainings and receive discounts on formal training and certification sessions.
"The economic crisis has affected us all, especially in certain fields" said David Palas, Country Sales Manager for CHS region. "We have a tradition on supporting customer's needs, and this approach is a quick way to keep in touch with the latest products, as these categories of professionals will improve their chances of re-employment, while constructively using the time to prepare for economic recovery".In addition, Autodesk offers online courses and resources through Autodesk University Online (AU Online), Autodesk User Group International (AUGI), as well as through Autodesk's channel on YouTube.
