Insipiration for logos
From where do you inspire when creating logos ?

I understand you have text about the company, proiect or website, but what exactly brings you that glimmer of light that helps you create the logo ?

What are you using as inspiration ? Looking in the mirror, products, other logos ?

I always try to follow the latest ltrends at the smashingmagazine site and try to compile well balanced colour schemes using online generators and using the colour patterns of offline advertisements. As I am rather a sitebuilder than a graphical artist I can design only simple but elegant logos.

Ofcourse, you need to ask your client first what they want and from their, you can build an imaginary logo. I think what inspired me most are, somebody else work.
