Thread: Godaddy

Hi

I have noticed a lot of people using GoDaddy to host their domains or websites.

Some say that they are good for domains but not web hosting and some think they are great for web hosting.

Does Godaddy host your site or sites and what is your opinion?

I wouldnt use godaddy.

I am using krystal.co.uk for all of my hosting at the moment. They are really good, have very fast servers, dont over sell capacity, are very friendly and they always answer the phone when I ring for help.

Is the support phone number a premium line number where you get charged £1 per minute?

I do believe Godaddy is a reputable domain name registrar, but not hosting provider. I heard that recently they released packages with 50MB of disk space and they are quite pricey, though they include some design services as well.
