I bought a domian with Dynahost a few days back. I redirected all my traffic to my freewebs site , anyhow i paid them set up the account. Then they sent me an email requesting that i sent a copy of my passport. This made me a little suspicious so i sent them one back saying what is the reason when they have already accepted payment.
I said i would send it and by that point realised they had already cancelled my site !! . I am a bit upset as i am not good at doing this kind of thing anyway so it took me a while to sort it all out !! .

Does any one else use Dynahost, and do they normally ask for a copy of your passport?

scfc16, There are many trusted domain providers like name.com or Godaddy.com. You could have used these instead of that Domain provider.
