How do you determine the value of a site for sale
Hi ,
I am interested in purchasing a site that it for sale. The google ad revenue from it each month is $5o and the sites been up and runnng for a year ( I dont want to say which site ) incase some one else snaps it up !! . The hosing for the site is already paying its self with the ad revenue but how much is the site worth?? :confused:

Well the first thing's first, the domain. If the domain's page rank is more than 3, then that means the site has been alot popular. That increases the value of the site. The second thing is the content. Like if you are buying a blog, you have to look at the articles and the comments submited. And if it is a forum, then you have to certainly look at the threads, posts and the most important thing, the number of active members, not the total members.
Talking about the site your interested in buying, it looks like the traffic is good as the monthly adsense revenue is $50. Well I can't still suggest you a price range because I have not seen the website. :p
