Default Marblehost.com, need your opinion

Have you ever heard about Marblehost.com?
It offers more than only free domain name registration. You may get absolutely free domain for life. The thing is that a free domain name for life is offered for all the clients which purchase any web hosting plan.
Will I be the owner forever for free
How do you think? Is this reasonable and productive deal? Thanks in advance.

hmm yeah be careful of this sort of deal, especially one with a 'free domain' for life.

that probably means that it will be free as long as you host with them - say goodbye to them and say goodbye to your domain name, also if they go out of business it can be very hard to get your domain name back, essentially i think you will find they will have 100% rights to the domain name, so if you build a successfull site, they can take your domain and nothing you can do about it.

like I said, be careful, if its too good to be true then it is.

Having said that i havent seen anything bad written about their actual hosting, as i have never hosted with them i cannot say what their hosting would be like. As long as you have 100% rights to your domain should be no issue i guess.

a general rule I use is this - if it is free, there is some catch and eventually there will be some problem.....

Well guys, I will try to re-assure you, because I have had a good run with Marblehost.com. I should say that it has been providing me with uninterrupted and constant hosting services for about 8 months. It will provide you with qualitative hosting and support services. And you will be the owner of free domain. Every next year, they will renew your domain for additional year. You can rely on this company.

explain to me how you are the owner of the domain?

if you leave the site can you take the domain with you? can you change the DNS? who is the domain registered through?

why cant i just start an account, get them to register a domain for me, then leave with my domain? Lets think about this...

The domain IS NOT FREE - its just built into your hosting costs, so they just charge you more for your hosting and thats how they pay for your domain... simple.

You have to buy a shared plan from them and a free domain is bonus.

I've heard that Marblehost.com gives your website the power of stable web hosting service providing high speed servers and valuable account options. They are able to give you fully qualitative services and more important that they have different kinds of customer support: context help, video tutorials, help center, ticketing system, phone, live chat. You know, they realize customer technical support is a major priority to their clients.

This company is good, but comparison will show you a well-marked picture of what hosting company to choose. As for recommendation, check out Serverpoint.com shared hosting offers. It is powerful enough for your business applications to run fast and efficiently.

Mablehost.com all web hosting plans include 99.9% uptime guarantee, 24/7 customer support with 1 hour response guarantee and some very useful FREE Bonuses. Those free bonuses are in many cases and it's up to you use them or not.
