I keep seeing a lot of top 5 web hosting company and top 10 domain name registration company etc, this are usually compiled by people with hidden agenda.

I will like you to post your top 5 hosting companies here (Please do not post a hosting company you own or work for) make it as objective as possible based on how good you think the companies are.

I jump at the opportunity and would like to point out that ahosting.biz, dayanahost.com, hostmonster.com, site5.com, etc. are good ones. To my mind, these companies are reliable because I have seen nice reviews about them. Moreover, they offer fully featured web hosting solutions at reasonable rates. So, I think that this will be useful for your request.

Lets see... Going for instance, as I do not see much difference in the rating positions of each one. also let me talk only about shared hosts First one is webhostgiant.com - cheap and large. then comes glowhost.com - freee domains, excellent support and quality. then - rackspace - dedicated servers are best here. then comes 000webhost.com - best free webhost.

If anyone can suggest a really good and preferable cheap hoster I might change.

What do you mean by okay but not good? How about 1 and 1? they are a German company, quite popular in UK, are they popular in Germany too?

I currently have hosting with eukhost, godaddy and 1and1 and have also used other services.

eukhost, whilst come across basic are extremely cheap and offer a good response service hosting some directories.

godaddy - also appear cheap but there are lots you need to pay for as addons.

1and1 - used them for 4 years. As a professional package user I found them to be the best with everything I want from a hosting company and no hidden costs.

Well, I have been using gazzin.com for about 4 months and I am extremely satisfied with this company. I have downtime only once, but this trouble was solved within an hour. I like also dayanahost.com services as well - their offers are pretty affordable and I think that this provider would be good for starting small business. As for domain registrar and hosting provider, godaddy.com is reputable one, so I think this Trio would be ok.
