Windows or Linux hosting?
What do you tend to go for with hosting? What do you feel gives you the most options and ease of use?
I've always gone for Linux hosting as I find it a lot more reliable and gives me all the options that I am looking for with hosting.

It depends on your businesses needs and current applications but if you haven't already been pinned down to ASP or any other product that requires windows, definitely go with Linux.
Just stay away from the web hosts that seem too cheap to be true. THEY ARE. And they have extra fees all over the place. You'll even end up paying an extra monthly fee for phone support and find your bill will be more than other hosts that have a simple inclusive monthly fee for all the general hosting essentials such as having a unique ip address, phone support, etc.

Yeah, it is very much dependent on the knowledge you have had. And the programming language you used to practice. One can't say he needs a windows hosting if he's a php practitioner and definitely not Linux hosting if all he knows is to compose asp pages.
