you can submit articles or join blog commenting or forum posting it is your choice on what SEO tools you want to use. You should be careful in the forum or blog rules because you cannot add links in all forum sites and forum threads.

dont expect any traffic at all from most directories and dont expect much link value either!

Directory submission can improve rank well in major search engine but other seo activity more effective to get high rank.

Best thing would be look for a high ranking article, spin that article and put your backlinks...

that's it you gain more traffic..

I know some of you would say it's not a good idea but that's another way if you're in a hurry!

yeah.. the best seo is directory submission.. it does not about PR.. it is about our visitors, if you use this method, we have visitors who really are interested in our site.

i think directory submission is still good for SEO, but if you want your backlink to go live in just a short time, you can do social bookmarking and its the same backlink result. i think =)
