Hello Friends,
In SEO their are many New Techniques which had come and also Effective. But as per My Knowledge i think Directory Submission is the best way to get quality backlinks with Good amount of traffic.
Can anyone Tell me how much Directory Submission is sufficient for getting sound traffic. and also can anyone give me free directory submission list which directories does not take much time to accept our submission.

Any one way link at the same time free. Its okay. But links are not all created equal. There still differences base on quality of links.

There are top directories out there whose capable to drive traffic like dmoz, yahoo dir etc.

Zbastian is right, however, you wait 5-6 months for a link to be approved on Dmoz for example and nowadays it doesn't mean what it meant years ago...

For local search results (which appear next to the map on google) it's good to have listings in the local directories which rank well on that local search term eg. for London based businesses any 'London' directory listing might have a good impact for the website.

I have nothing against directory submissions. I use them in link building myself. But sometimes, they are a bit too slow to show results. And I still believe that organic searches can give my site much more traffic, especially if optimized for certain high traffic keywords.

nowadays directory submission is not having much value if the directory having high PR then ok fine otherwise no use

I never get any traffic from free directories, Also free directories links are very deep, so they are just count as a back link nothing more.

Getting traffic from directories is not that often but it's a good tool to build links!
