Google Analytics Help...
Hello Friends,
I have certain queries regarding the Crawl Stats of Google webmaster:
1. What is the relationship between 'Kilobytes downloaded per day' and 'Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds)'. Is it an inverse relationship or a directly propotional relationship, or there is just some vague co-relation between them?
2. Does a drop in 'Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds)' curve indictaes that the server of the website is not able to handle high traffic?
Would appreciate any help on this matter.

Your questions are quite interesting, here is my take on the questions.
The relationship between data downloaded and time spent downloading it directly related and it is influenced by a number of factors including how fast your server is, whether the crawler downloading it is working at its optimum etc etc but all this is academic and really does not affect a site ranking, what affects your raking is to ensure your site contents is optimised, large images reduced, no unnecessary HTML codes etc etc so that your page download quickly
Drop in time spent downloading per day does not mean the server cannot handle the download, it could mean that the crawler already have most of the materials it need on your site from previous visit , did not find many new stuff to download so it did not need to spend so much time on your site downloading stuff.

There are two simple steps required to start tracking a new website: the creation of a new website profile, and the addition of Analytics tracking code to all of the pages you wish to track.
1) Create a new profile
2) Add the tracking code to your page
Hope this Help
