Thread: How do you choose the platform for your new website ?

Let's say you want to make a new website. The niche is not relevant, because the most popular CMS can be adapted to almost anything. For example I saw video blogs, company websites, online newspapers and ecommerce sites based on WordPress.
So What CMS would you use for a new website, and why?

For me its WordPress.

Easy to install, very easy to theme, lots of plugins and is generally very easy to customise. I also have lots of experience with using it, so I find it very usable too.

I was accustomed to Joomla. Also there is enough for it!

Lets go with all great Wordpress.

for new web first you know which type of site you want to make for heavy and bulky site you can use java plateform and for regular and fast site you can use PHP.

I would recommend to Use WordPress.

My choice is word press for its friendly use. Also I like PHP for its advance function.
