Default What you should know before you create a website?

There are some basic rules that must apply before starting the work on a site and even after publication online. We will try to outline these rules to create simple pages without headaches later.
    # 1. Set the target group.
Determine what type of visitors you want on your pages what you want to get to that page? Once you know which category to ask your guests, set its content and importance of pages.
    # 2. Create the site sketch.
Plan page will look like, what will be menus where menu requires horizontal static and dynamic pull-down menu, set relations between pages and their structure from the first page. You can do all this on paper or use a program to generate the kind of site map.
    # 3. Create simple pages and small.
You always in mind that every page must load in a short while even the weakest connection. Usually, visitors in November they no longer access a page that did not load and display anything after the first 30 seconds, and it is known that every guest is important, keep the pages small and simple. If you have too many pictures on a page, it will load more difficult. In Dreamweaver you can see exactly when loading an HTML page on the different types of connections. Set the page size as small pictures. It is preferred that photos be in jpg format static and dynamic (animated) gif format. Note that not all browsers know how to display other types of files, and even some browsers do not display pictures at all.
    # 4. Relevant content pages.
If your page does not provide relevant content or is too full of banners, moving pictures and other animations to attract attention from the content, you can lose many visitors. Better create multiple pages with information arranged in May light, tight and more data than a single page.
    # 5. Format the contents of W3C standards
Place the first page links to the most important information from the site. Possible presence and a short description and link will lead visitors to the page you interest. Format titles with <h1> <h2> important words <b> <u> etc.. Tactic that is beneficial not only for those who read the page, but also for search engines. They evaluate segments of text and display the data readable and formatted according to the page content. Although Meta tags are invisible to visitors, it must be because search engines take account of them, so we need to think about the records necessary since the planning stage of the pages.
    # 6. Keywords
Prepare for each page a set of keywords and a description of what gives a title page and each individual page. They will be saved in Meta tags and title will be displayed on the top bar of your browser. If you leave the <head> <title> tag, it remains completely empty, or is automatically "untitled document". If a search with any search engine by that name, you'll be amazed how many results appear to have no connection with "untitled document"
    # 7. Colors
When choosing colors for your site, you should use nuance complementary color combination that is diametrically opposed to each other in the color circle. You can use the Color Computer application to find the right shades for your page formatting and not use different colors for different pages on the same site, it will confuse visitors. It is better to use this subject for the entire site. Choosing the right image is important chromatics site, and how it will be received by visitors. If there is already a Corporate Design or a Corporate Identity, you need to transfer this concept to your pages Check chromatic concept chose several types of monitors, and choose the one that sees the closest to what you want, on any of monitors. A logo is very important to achieve an identity, but if the colors do not match then the impact will not be one you want.
    # 8. Fonts
The text formatting, working on the idea "less is more". That extravagant fonts opt to avoid the page layout to be presented in a way completely different on every computer in hand. Fonts are not part of HTML code but are defined only individual sections of fonts, and browser the visitor looking for something that the news of computer fonts that visit. If that visitor has the font you specify the page will display the page with standard font of that browser. I would not recommend using tricks such as implementation of the front pages in graphical form, because it greatly increases the load time of that page.
    # 9. Sketch design page
Once you determine which menus and what content should be in pages, try to make a drawing about how you want to show the page in the browser, with appropriate graphics. Think design page for different resolutions, even for browsers like WAP or PDA resolution (you never know what visitors you have and what device falls). For sites bushy, very helpful to focus is a small navigation assistant, a kind of menu or a link that tell you where you are and how to reach other sections of the site.
    # 10. Programming Style
The organization of a page is important and how individual elements are arranged. Technique for which you choose depends on the knowledge that you have in creating web pages. You can create a page using tables, frames (frames) or CSS with div or you can combine them all. I personally prefer the original structure (skeleton) made of tables, then split each section add-ins for formatting and layouts and fill with CSS to give more quality and style pages. Take into account the fact that some browsers may ignore formatting with CSS, so it is best to do a check to see the page as well even without the elements of style.
    # 11. Optimal compression of images
Although a good image to have as many pixels, this is not true on the web. Try to compress images as much as possibly create 2 sets of image displayed on a page and a larger and higher quality if the visitor click on a picture gives and wants to see details. You can use a program like IrfanView to process photos.
    # 12. Code pages used
A very important rule, do not use JavaScript or Flash animation to display the page content. If you do, turn to the alternative, if the visitor's browser has the Flash plug-in or has disabled JavaScript, can still see the contents page and browse the site without problems.
    # 13. Do not trust visitors
If the site you have forms or receive data from visitors to verify the data after the scheme - which data / where / what type / by whom - before using them. So prevent problems that may arise in using the site by malicious people.
    # 14. Tested locally and then publish online
Test the pages locally in different browsers and resolutions, with various settings of browsers, even on different operating systems to see what problems may occur and remediaţile before putting the site online. After the publication online, check all the pictures appear, if the links are active or if you have not forgotten anything.
    # 15. Promotion and update
With the publication of an online site, job designer and developers is complete, is among those who administer and maintain, and promote them in various ways to attract visitors. Update the site frequently as to make their visitors happy to return possibly create mailing lists which visitors can communicate with each other, be able to express their views. Create a newsletter to let members on several occasions. Note the views of visitors and members and constantly change pages so that visitors have reason to return always.
