I’m after some help with a Wordpress layout if someone can help me.

Basically, I have a video site that each video is embedded from Photobucket within a post. So essentially every post is a video.

What I want is for there to be a thumbnail of 4 posts from a particular category on the homepage of the site. I guess this is a list of the latest posts, but in thumbnail and title format.

The thumbnail needs to be a portion of the video (screen grabbed and shrunk from the embedded video) and next to it there be the title of the video and a brief description.

How do I go about coding this on the page? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
