    In this tutorial we are going to discuss the top 10 best mathematical functions to perform numeric data with the help of rounding off. I hope it will help you knowing the method in better way so you can improve your skills as well.
    Mathematical function is used for numerical operation, which is performing the numerical operation on numerical data.
    These are the various mathematical functions are described below:

    Function name & Description:


    ABS function:

    ABS function returns the absolute value. ABS function uses the parameter numeric_expression.

    ACOS, ASIN, ATAN function:

    These are the three functions (ACOS, ASIN, ATAN) are floating point values which return the angle in radians. These are the three functions use the parameter float_expression.

    COS, SIN, COT, TAN function:

    These are the functions COS, SIN, COT, TAN are the floating point values which return the Cosine, sin, cotangent, or tangent of the angle in radians. These are the functions use the parameter float_expression.

    DEGREES function:

    Degrees function return the smallest integer greater than or equal to specified value. Degree function is use to the parameter numeric expression.

    EXP function:

    EXP function is to return the exponential value of any specific values. EXP function is use the parameter float_expression.

    FLOOR function:

    FLOOR function is to return the largest integer less than or equal to for specified values. FLOOR function is use the parameter numeric_expression.


    LOG function:

    LOG function is to return the logarithms of the specified values. LOG function is use the parameter (float_expression).



    LOG10 function:

    LOG 10 functions is to return the base-10 logarithms of the specified values. This function is use the parameter (float_expression).

    PI function:

    PI function is to return the constant value of 3.141592653589793.

    POWER function:

    POWER function is to return the value of numeric expression to the value of y. This function uses the parameter (numeric_expression, y).

    RADIANS function:

    RADIANS function is to convert the values from degrees to radians. This function is use the parameter (numeric_expression).

    RAND function:

    RAND function is to return a random value of float number between 0 and 1.

    ROUND function:

    ROUND function is to returns a numeric expression round off to the length specified as an integer value as an integer expression. This function is use the parameter (numeric_expression).

    SIGN function:

    SIGN function is to returns positive, negative, or zero. This function is use the parameter (numeric_expression).

    SQRT Function:

    SQRT function is to return the square root of the specified value. This function is use the parameter (float_expression).


    Syntax is:

    ROUND(numeric_expression, length)
    Where numeric_expression is numeric expression , which is to be round off.
    Length is the precision to which the expression is to be round off. If the length is positive, then the expression is rounded to the right of decimal point. If the length is negative, then the expression is rounded to the left of the decimal point. Now we will take some example in which we will do the round off numbers these are here:

    Examples :
    1. ROUND(1234.789,2)
    Output will be 1234.790.
    1. ROUND(1234.789,1)
    Output will be 1234.800.
    1. ROUND(1234.789,0)

    Output will be 1235.000.

    1. ROUND(1234.789,-1)

    Output will be 1230.000

    1. ROUND(1234.789,-2)
    Output will be 1200.000.

    1. ROUND(1234.789,-3)

    Output will be 1000.000.
