  1. In DBMS relationship between two tables are maintained programatically where as in RDBMS relationship between two tables can be specified at the time of table creation.
  2. DBMS does not support Distributed databases where as in RDBMS supports Distributed database.
  3. In DBMS no security of data where as in RDBMS there are multiple level security 1. Logging in at OS level.2.Command level 3. Object level.
  4. DBMS does not support client / server Architecture where as in RDBMS supports Client / server Architecture.

1.DBMS stands for database management system whereas RDBMS stands for relational Database management system.
2.DBMS is used for the application that deals will less amount of data whereas RDBMS on the other hand is used for applications that handle huge amount of data.
3.In DBMS there are more chances of data redundancy whereas in RDBMS keys and indexes are used that reduces the problem of data redundancy.
4.In DBMS accessing data is bit tedious and time consuming for complex databases whereas in RDBMS fetching data is comparatively much faster.
5.DBMS examples: Microsoft access, dBAse, FoxPro,etc whereas RDBMS Examples: MySQL,Oracle, SQL Server, etc.

RDBMS(relational data base management system) is a type of DBMS in which all the information are stored in a table form,in the RDBMS a table is created with it's schema stored in columns and data are stored in rows. It also supports the properties of distributed database. There are several advantages of using it at the place of normal database model like here lot's of integrity constraints are applied to secure the data and easily fetch the data from the database using SQL queries.

DBMS is database management system while RDBMS is relational database management system.one of the advantages of RDBMS over DBMS is that in RDBMS redundancy of data is less as compare to DBMS and data is not secured in DBMS while in RDBMS data is secured. Both are used for fetching the data.

database management system is DBMS and the relational database management system.

A database management system is combination of software and the hardware that can be used to set up a monitor a database.

So which one we are using in our hosting panels? it looks like RDMS is great than DBMS. I haven't used DBMS, but when in college studied about RDBMS and that in olden days.

If the data is complex then DBMS feel difficult to fetch where for RDBMS it will be easy process, data redundancy cannot be controlled with DBMS and it is strictly controlled by RDBMS by the tables and keys. I suggest DBMS for small mobile apps and RDBMS for complex data designs.
