Dell introduces a DSS 9000 rack architecture that allow users to decouple storage and computing resources, the first ever system in the world to be based on Intel’s Rack Scale Architecture.
Dell, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of computer devices, is bringing the advantages of its enterprise-level hyperscale rack servers to a huge range of clients.
Next week in the upcoming Mobile World Congress, Dell will reveal its new designed product DSS 9000 hyperscale rack architecture, a latest server technology that allows storage and computing resources to be decoupled. This new and unique rack design, indeed for medium to large businesses, is simply based on Intel's Rack Scale Architecture, just to fetch power efficiency and configuration flexibility to Web-scale tasks.
According to Dell’s authorized officer, the DSS 9000 will ship in the second half this year.
