    The most active feature of DBMS is that it provides a facility of fault tolerance.

    They continue to run if errors occurs and provide the facility allowing users to detect their mistake at the same time.

    DBMS, in addition provides the feature of recovery in the failure of functions.

    Take an example if record or data on disk is corrupted or lost, data can be recovered if the back up is taken for the time when data was not corrupted.

    DBMS has got roll back recovery feature which makes it fault tolerant. These systems are based on algorithms. Because of the recovery option available you can easily get back your lost website. It may vary depending on the failure that occurred. In the event of system failure the database would be safe because it is fault tolerant.
