What has in fact forced Google to shift from relevancy to revenue? Well, I don't have to clarify and explain my words as people from all over the world have talked and expressed their concerns about the issue.

No one had ever thought or imagined that Google would try to influence the appearance of the top natural listings. Things have changed after Google went public and they are now totally in the revenue bent of mind. How do they satisfy their investors and how do they keep their share prices rising? Well do things that boost your revenue model and what is the harm if they have to manipulate natural results in order to earn revenue. Definitely not a cause of concern for Google but what about people who are dependent on organic SEO to promote and market their websites. As far as I think, Google's revenue model has forced Google to adopt such techniques because it has to fulfill the expectations of investors and keep the profit on the higher side.

However, it is very essential to note that since Google's stock jumped up to a puffy, unrealistic $300.00 per share, the value of shares would have to rise $30.00 to earn 10% growth. So, how Google will maintain and achieve the desired goal? Very obvious, we all know, keep aside relevancy for a while and focus on revenue. Google can afford this considering the brand and trust it has developed over the past few years. But can Google afford to rely on their brand value for too long? I guess not, it is bound to hit Google very hard in the time to come if it continues with the current policy.
