How does Google clean its record?

I was just reading some posts in some forum, and they were discussing about expired domain. Apparently, expired domain gets renewed in Google's index. More specifically, when ICANN record gets cleaned up, Google also cleans up the domain record. This kind of makes sense, but one thing I'm not so clear about is transfer of domain ownership. For example, if I pay $10 mil and buy this domain webmasterserve.com, am I going to get the existing PR and all that?

I doubt they sweep it right after expiration.
Its probably more like 3-6 months after a website domain has expired, google will clean its slate. Only if the site is inactive/closed though. Same thing probably goes for domain transfers.
