My 2 Cents Importance Of Adding A Description To The Product

    The most common mistake is the lack of a text description for the product. People are more likely to buy if your product has a description that is written in an interesting way. A product without description gives people an impression that they cannot trust your store. It is not recommended that you copy the description from the manufacturer because Google SEO guidelines already states that they will penalize site that use duplicate content. So, you should always come up with a unique description for your product.

    Most of the product we are supposed to buy, we may not familiar with its physical or technical specifications. If a product has detailed information about it, gives customers to entertain more information about the product they want to buy. You can also inform them pros and cons about the products you are selling. This is easy way to establish relationship with your customers.

    Adding description to the products increase the chances to get the product preferred more due to the transparency shows to the users. Lets take an example of two products of similar price, one with description and other without, the product with description would be prefer as there is a transparency of what exactly the product is.

    Adding description to the product helps the customers to understand the product in a better way so that they will understand what they are buying and is it up to their need. Just by giving a name would not be easy for a customer as there can be a thin line difference between two products. The description will help in varying them.
