Effective website optimization for traffic to lead conversion depends on several factors and requires some amount of testing over time. However, here are some sure shot website optimization tips that will surely affect your traffic to lead conversions immediately.
    1. Reduce Page Load Time: One of the main reasons for high bounce rates is high page load time. Fix that and your bounce rate will automatically reduce. There are free tools available for you to check the load time of your website. Ideally, anything under three seconds is good. More than that, the chances of visitors bouncing off your website is much higher.

    1. Make your website mobile responsive: You must admit, mobile marketing is the next big thing. That’s where the money is and that’s where your business needs to be. In fact, going forward, I would strongly urge you to make your website mobile responsive for website optimization because statistics say, mobile phone usage has exceeded desktop internet usage and is going to increase further in the near future.

    1. Have a clear navigable structure: A website is technically an online representation of your business. Too many elements scattered all over the page with no clear headline or call to action is not going to result in too many traffic to lead conversions, even if it has a good load time and is mobile responsive. Avoid the dropdowns, reduce the clutter, have ample white spaces and a clear headline at the top so one can immediately identify what the business does.

    1. Have one or at the most two, CTAs on the same page: The CTA is the joker on the page. Traffic to leave conversion would typically depend on that one line. Of course, the other elements on the page must work alongside it but if the copy on the CTA is weak, the conversion may not happen. Not just the copy, one must make sure the design of the CTA is prominent, action-oriented and visible on the top half of the page.

    1. Use website widgets like top bar: You would have come across certain websites that usually have an offer or announcement on a bar at the top of the page. That’s a top bar. It can be used to drive engagement, convert website traffic to leads or promote latest offers. B2C segments can promote latest offers or announcements using the top bar while B2B segments can drive engagement with ebooks, whitepapers and webinar announcements.

    1. Credibility plays an important part: Elements like customer testimonials, customer logos, and verification or guarantee stamps will really help in this case. The type of elements would depend on the business. This is generally a good practice and reinsures the prospect as well. For B2C segments, customer testimonials or reviews and some sort of money back guarantee could be used. For B2B, customer logos and recognition from authoritative bodies are a good way to start.

These six website optimization practices will surely increase your traffic to lead conversions immediately.

Minimizing bounce rates is very important. If your bounce rates are high that means the content on your website or blog is not connecting with your audience.
