I think it's possible that they will. Just these past few years is starting to show that laptops have come down in price enormously.

If you sit at a desk then you dont need a laptop. They are expensive to fix as opposed to a deskto pc.
If you travel round doing presentations and the like then get one.
Its a tool for a job to me. Laptops are more fashionable thugh but when your grahics card blows dont be suprised to get stung for a good few hundred pounds as opposed to 50 for a PCIExpress one for a desktop

Well, it's possible because laptop is portable but I'll still go for desktop.

depends on what you need them fore. If you are traveling alot and only need to take some notes laptops will become more important but if you decide on working from home they won't

yeah laptops will be more popular soon. later laptops will come only with a keyboard and any flat surface can be used as a monitor.

Laptop will get popularity very soon because they are very easy to use and portable. People prefer laptops compare to PCs.
