The range Operator is used to retrieve data that can be extracted in ranges. The BETWEEN and the NOT BETWEEN are the range operators. The BETWEEN keyword in the WHERE clause specifies an inclusive range to search, whereas the NOT BETWEEN keyword is used to exclude rows from the specified range.
    Syntax

    SELECT column_list
    FROM table_name
    WHERE expression2 range operator expression2 AND expression3

The range operator can be explained as an useful operator that can retrieve the data from the database tables from a valid range. You can execute the select statement with this range operator providing the range data.
e.g. retrieval of the students scored 50+ marks in maths of a school.

you can solve this example by using range operator BETWEEN or NOT BETWEEN in the WHERE clause that make the expression1 and the expression 2.
