    Relational database :-
It is the convention database. It stored the data in the row and column form.
    Example :-
Relational data base which store the record of engineering students.

    Object Oriented database:-
It stores the data in the form of Objects .
    Example :-
It is used to store data of MAT LAB, Photoshop, CAM, CAD etc.
What is the difference between RDBMS and object oriented database?

These are two aspects of the data base one is traditional database and another one is modern database. Relational database used to store the data in the form of record where as in the object oriented database data are stored in the form of objects.
