My 2 Cents The Three Most Important Factors Of Keyword Researching

It's Game Time!

Hello everyone!

I am here once again to share something that would likely mean for those who are into SEO and keyword researching. I know that some of you are still struggling when it comes to keyword researching. But don't you guys worry, because I was there too. During my times when I was still new to SEO and keyword researching, I also struggle into it. But that was actually normal, as I keep on learning once and for all. Once we are willing to learn no matter how difficult it is, eventually we will get there slowly but surely. But the important thing is that we never stop learning, and we should thank the ones who teach us about these things around us.

In this article that I am going to discuss today, we will be talking more about the three most important factors of keyword research. First and foremost, why is it necessary for us to learn more about this one? Isn't it just optional and not needed for us to get traffic and make some money? Of course, it's possible. But again, this article is only meant for those people who are into keyword researching. We can gain traffic and make some money to our website without keyword researching, only if you are focused on other traffic sources like social media, blog commenting, paid traffic and so on. But when it comes to keyword research, we are aiming to rank high on Google and other search engines based on the keywords that we've researched so far.

Why keyword research is the critical part of ranking our site?

It is because no matter how beautiful your site was, how high quality your content was, and how it was fully optimized, you can't rank well without choosing the right keywords for it. I have experiences before when I was still new into this, especially choosing keywords that aren't the best on my part. When I attempted to use keywords in my niche blogs and was properly optimized, something's not right. I don't have a lot of traffic that time, and I see that my rank was only on the 8th page of Google through my keyword. The reason is because I didn't study enough about the factors of keyword researching, and I don't wanna let you guys commit the same mistake as I am though.

Ok guys, without further ado, I would like to present to you the three most important factors in doing keyword research:

1. Competition

This is a very important factor to all of us guys, and it's simply no other than competition alone. Just like in business, school or any aspect of life that you have, there's always somebody who competes with you rather than none at all. When it comes to competition, there are three levels of it. They are known as low, medium and high. When you do keyword researching, the best keywords you analyzed to be picked are no other than low competition. You know why? It's because it gives you a higher chance to rank well among the others in Google and other search engines. As for medium competition keywords, it's kind of a 50-50 situation. But for high competition keywords (which mostly are short and common keywords), it's a very slim chance.

2. Number of monthly searches

Aside from competition, another important factor that you would like to consider in keyword researching is simply no other than the number of searches every month. If your keyword's competition is low and ranks high on Google but with less monthly searches, eventually it's not going to be worth it. I think it's better that you can research low competition keywords with at least more than 1,000 monthly searches. But if you are desperate enough, you can go for more than 5,000 or even more than that. In that case, it would be good enough for you to use that keyword.

3. Number of search page results

One more thing ladies and gentlemen, you should know how many competitors do you have in an exact way. One technique is that you should include the "allintitle:" and insert your main keyword enclosed with parenthesis to give you the exact results on how many are your competitors, rather than not using at all. The lesser your competitors are, the higher chances you can outrank them as long you do proper optimization once and for all.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen! Have you learned something on this article about the three important keyword research factors? Feel free to reply here if you have any questions, as I will try my best to answer them for you.

A really great article for keyword selection. I would add my 2 cents.
I have a reason to believe that we should look for trends as well and the past graph scenario for that keyword we are selecting.
I remember, selecting Monte Carlo Casino was a great success for me but later it has sudden downfall and so it happened to me while selecting Nijmegan Casino (Local Dutch) got me loss.
I agree some ever green niche like mesothelioma, weight loss, buy Viagra are nice keywords and will stay for long but like @cheezcarls discussed the competition, this is where you need to work twice or thrice or many folds.
