Attributes- Each entity has an attribute that is the property that describes the entity,it is also known as schema or columns of a table.
Attributes are classified into various category like single, composite, multivalued, single valued e.t.c
What is difference between stored and derived attributes, and for which entity set it is used in DBMS?

Stored attributes are already stored in database from which the value of other attributes are derived is called stored attribute.

Derived attributes are those attribute for which the value is calculated from the stored attributes.

    • Date of birth
    Derived Attribute:-

    • Derived attribute is the attribute which is generate by the using stored attributes. We can say that derived attribute may be age which is derived by the date of birth.Derived attribute depend on the stored attribute.
