What is merit and demerit of ppc and seo? Can we run both PPC and SEO campaigns at the same time?

One cannot readily compare that which one is better but here are some points that make them compatible and incompatible for certain companies:
    1. Pay-per-click is relatively easier than search engine optimization. With search engine optimization, one has to go through several on and off page methods, in order to get the website on the top of the search engine.
    2. Pay-per-click produces immediate traffic since the website's link will be prominently positioned on top of search results. With SEO, you need to wait a few months to get the result.

Pay per click (PPC), also called cost per click, is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner or a host of website) when the ad is clicked. It is defined simply as “the amount spent to get an advertisement clicked.”

You can run both PPC and SEO campaigns together to get maximum exposure in the search engine. When your site is new, it is not easy to rank on the search engine so you can run a PPC advertising campaign to drive traffic and sales.
