There are security flaws for both. Neither is more secure, its the user that affects the security

That's exactly it... well, Linux itself has less viruses and compatible spyware, so in that case the chance of picking up a trojan or likewise would be less than Windows.

If Windows users would log in as USERS and not ADMIN they would get a lot fewer issues

I agree, windows users with admin rights seem to get the viruses

With great power come great responsibility. Unfortunately, users running as admin installing random web content isnt responsible

they deserve what they get
